"The artist performs only one part of the creative process. The onlooker completes it, and it is the onlooker who has the last word."
-MARCEL DUCHAMP
You are the missing piece to every design, the person who takes it all in and makes a decision about what story you will tell, what business card you want to hand out at the coffee shop or what poster you're going to hang to spread the word about the local makers market.
I started creating because I was always surrounded by artists and creatives. The best thing about being able to design for others is we all have so much to express and are only missing the tools to create it.
As an artist I have always had an affinity for scissors, from my career as a cosmetologist, cutting hair and crafting updos, to my life in graphic design, creating collages.
When I'm not at my desk you can find me next to my desk cutting up newspapers for a collage, in my back yard cutting someone's hair, downtown selling tea at a local market or packed into a car with my friends, a pop up tent, way too many snacks and definitely forgetting something important for the camping trip (such as the tarp that was going to shelter us from the rain for a weekend in Virginia, I've done this twice now).
If you have a world of ideas and need a designer to create for you, email me and we can get a tea latte and chat about your wildest dreams.
